David Harry Parr

A funeral service celebrating the life of David Harry Parr, age 59, of Hebron, was held June 20, 2007, in the chapel of the Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville, with Pastors Stephen Brown and Jeff Gill officiating. Private family burial followed in Hebron Cemetery.

David died Sunday evening at OSU Medical Center, Columbus, following an extended illness.

He was born in Newark, on December 23, 1947, the son of the Harry Junior and the late Virginia Ann Frischen Parr. He was a graduate of the Lakewood High School, Class of 1966 and for many years owned and operated Parr's Pizza. At one time he was an active member of the Hebron and Buckeye Lake Fire Departments.

He was a member of the Hebron Christian Church.

David enjoyed his family and his friends at dialysis whom he called his "Dialysis Family." A happy man, he enjoyed a good joke and loved playing practical jokes and gags on his friends.

He is survived by his wife, the former Patty Hare, whom he mar- ried on December 12, 1981; his children, Jamie Esterline (Mark Charles) of Key Largo, FL., Jerald (Alayna) Morris of Hebron, Carla (Jay) Stewart of Hebron; his seven grandchildren and his one great-grandchild; sister-inlaw, Geneva (Billy) Thomas of Biloxi, Miss.; aunt, Janice( Dale) Forsythe of Harbor Hills; and Sonny (Rosemary) Frischen of Kirkersville.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy in the form of memorial contributions be made to the Hebron Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
