Charles E. Morris
Charles E. Morris, Sr., 81 of Millersport, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at his residence.
He was a World War II US Army veteran and retired truck driver for Industrial Steam and Coal Co. He was a lifetime member of the Baltimore VFW Post 3761.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carolyn; three sons, Charles E. Morris, Jr. of Roseville, John Morris of Lancaster, and Tom (Ginger) Morris of New Lexington; three daughters, Dian (Jim) Hall of Thornville, Rita and Janice both of Lancaster; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters, Gert Nelson of Lancaster, Evelyn Sowers of Columbus, Cindy of Grove City, and Martha J. of IN; two brothers, James (Rose) Morris of Columbus and Samuel (Pat) Morris of London, OH; stepchildren, Shirley (Dale) Busi of VA, Richard Timmons of Fresno, OH, Brian (Arlene) Timmons of Coshocton, and David Timmons of Bradenton, FL. A special thank you to Dr. Lisa Maurer and Mt. Carmel East Hospice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Liege and Delcie Morris; step-mother, Irna Morris; and daughters-in-law, Doris Morris and Linda Timmons.
A funeral service was held June 20, 2007, in the Johnson- Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Baltimore, with Pastor Jack Johnson officiating. Caring Cremation to follow. Burial will be at a later date.
