+ May 7: Police took a report on a theft at Baltimore Market IGA.
+ May 7: Police made an arrest for drug possession at the middle/ high school complex.
+ May 7: Police assisted a motorist locked out of a vehicle on Granville Street. Entry was gained.
+ May 8: Police are investigating a reported assault on Fairview Avenue.
+ May 8: Police assisted at a firescene on South Basil at Canal Street.
+ May 9: Police assisted at a firescene on South Main Street.
+ May 9: Police made an arrest for possession of drugs in Alt Park.
+ May 9: Police assisted a motorist locked out of a vehicle on West Washington Street. Entry was gained.
+ May 10: Police responded with a sheriff's officeunit to an alarm drop on Lake Road.
+ May 9: A Newark woman reported that a Buckeye Lake man forced her to have sex with him. She later admitted that she fabricated the story. The man may press charges.
+ May 9: An officerwas dispatched to a West 1st Street residence where a juvenile reportedly assaulted his mother and brother.
+ May 9: A Walnut Road woman reported that someone stole a video game system from her home.
+ May 9: A woman was arrested who had a warrant from the Licking County Sheriff's Department.
+ May 10: A West 4th Street man reported his ATM card as stolen.
+ May 10: A guest at the Super 8 Motel wanted a refund because the television wasn't working in his room. The television was replaced with one that worked, but the man was still demanding a refund. The desk person felt threatened and called police.
+ May 11: A Rosenbrough Circle man reported that someone stole a vehicle transmission from his home.
+ May 15: An attempted robbery was reported at the Valero gas station. Nothing was taken.
+ May 19: Officer assisted sheriff's department with serving a civil protection order.
+ May 19: Officerwas dispatched to a Central Ave. home on a possible domestic violence with an assault. No one was at the scene when the officerarrived.
+ May 20: Officer assisted Hebron PD with four juveniles who were shooting pellet guns in a field.
+ May 21: A Cranberry Lane woman reported that someone stole her car.
+ May 22: Licking County Sheriff's Office reported there was a stolen van abandoned near the Myers Farm. The van was recovered, but its stereo was missing.
+ May 22: A Newark woman reported that a man who was servicing her car refused to return it.
+ April 6: Police assisted a motorist with a flattire on Ohio 79.
+ April 6: Police were called to assist Buckeye Lake Police with a reported fight at the Corner House. There wasn't any trouble there, but a bartender pointed out a woman who had been threatening to call 9-1-1. She denied making the call and was advised about making false reports.
+ April 7: Police advised some South High Street residents about loud music at 3:56 a.m.
+ April 7: Police were called about two possibly intoxicated people leaving the Kroger store at 4:10 a.m. They were advised not to drive and called a friend for a ride home.
