Mark W. Morrow

A funeral service celebrating the life of Mark W. Morrow, 68, will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2007, in the chapel of the Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville with Pastor Mark Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster with full military honors.

Mark, a resident of the Pataskala Oaks Care Center, died Monday afternoon, May 14, 2007, following an extended illness.

He was born April 21, 1939 in Oolitic, IN, the son of the late Rev. Starling and Margaret Louise Anderson Morrow.

He was a retired truck driver for the Coca Cola Company, and had served honorably in the US Army. He was a member of the Pine Hills Baptist Church in Columbus. Some of the things Mark enjoyed were helping his family, going to family events, tinkering in the garage, camping, fishing, playing the organ, flying, and riding his motorcycle. His family was extremely important to him.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy of Columbus; step-children, Arthur Lee (Sue Casselberry) Ford of Silver Springs, FL., Harold (Peggy) Ford of Granville, Louise (Gene) Bartlett of Newark, Margaret Bevard of Columbus, Ethel (John) Thomas of Kirkersville; daughter-in-law, Linda Ford; his brothers, Jay (Ann) Morrow of Grove City, and Kirby (Melissa) Morrow; of Sanford,NC; his sisters, Pat (Ray) Heffner and Kathy (Dave) Stemm of Brazil, IN; aunts, Eva Stulpz of Bedford, IN, Emily Fields of AZ, Edith Bahr of Oolitic, IN and Lois Waldron of Nashville IN; many nieces and nephews and cousins; 19 step-grandchildren; and many step great and great-great grandchildren.
