Frances E. Schwab

Frances E. Schwab, age 75, of Thornville, formerly of Southbury, Connecticut died Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at Chapel Grove Assisted Living. She was born August 2, 1931, in Augusta, Maine to the late Stanley and Margaret (Stiles) Rundstrom.

Mrs. Schwab was a medical assistant for 27 years for a cardiologist in Waterbury, Connecticut . She retired after a decade from Waterbury Cardiology Associates.

Mrs. Schwab was a member of the Connecticut Trails Council of Girl Scouts, where she was a troop leader and camp director. She helped found Camp Nippe- Wauke in Hebron, Connecticut. Mrs. Schwab was a past -president of the Waterbury Medical Assistants Association.

She is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Bill) Nordby of Thornville, Janice (Chris) Swainbank of Southbury, and Brenda (John) Cooke of Athens, Georgia; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Schwab.

There will be no calling hours or services.
