Rep. Dodd gets House Committee assignments

COLUMBUS - State Representative Dan Dodd (D-Hebron) recently announced his committee assignments for the 127th General Assembly.

Dodd will be serving on the Agriculture & Natural Resources, Civil & Commercial Law, Energy, and Financial Institutions committees.

"What I like the best about my membership on these committees is that the work done in these committees is important to the folks in the 91st District," Dodd said. "Serving on the Financial Institutions committee gives me the opportunity to create an environment where both lenders and borrowers can benefit from common sense legislation that will help spur economic development. One sector that is ready for development is the area of alternative fuels and energy, and my work on the Energy and Agriculture & Natural Resources committees will give me the opportunity to help Ohio realize its potential as a leader in this field. Last, but not least, is the importance that these industries and individuals have the opportunity to receive a fair hearing when they disagree, and my work on the Civil & Commercial Law committee will assist in achieving that goal."
