Council member says water contract will be signed

Kirkersville held its council meeting February 7, and several things were discussed.

First was the water, it was a unanimous decision to go ahead and have the contract signed. This does NOT mean that we have to start construction right away or that anyone has to hook up to the water immediately. It just means that we locked into the price set forth with SWL water.

Second was sewer rates, we have decided not to increase rates as of yet. We are still researching our other options at this time.

And last, but not least, I would like to thank Glen Graham for coming to our meeting. He has asked that council consider letting his congregation use our building for church services on Sunday, starting in April. We are working out the details on this for this, so it looks hopeful.
