Buckeye Lake

+ Jan. 4: A Pizza Cottage employee reported that a customer paid for food with a counterfeit $50 bill.

+ Jan. 5: A West 2nd Street man said someone stole a 16' extension ladder and scrap aluminum from his yard.

+ Jan. 5: A Grandstaff Road man reported someone tried to break into his house, but was unsuccessful. The would be thief damaged his front door and a window.

+ Jan. 7: A Hebron Road woman reported that her daughter became angry and bit her. She did not want to press charges.

+ Jan. 7: A Walnut Road resident reported that her daughter was receiving harassing phone calls.

+ Jan. 8: A Family Dollar employee reported a person shoplifted, then escaped in a red pick-up truck. An officerfound the truck at CatfishCharley's. The shoplifter was apprehended.

+ Jan. 8: A Dayton man told police that he suspected that his wife stole a shotgun from his Buckeye Lake summer home.

+ Jan. 9: Balloons floating around the inside of the Beachridge Lounge set off a motion alarm.

Hebron

+ Dec. 2: Police on patrol were flagged down by an employee at the Lakewood Inn. The employee said a guest checking out took two blankets. The guest's phone number had been disconnected. Police took a report.

+ Dec. 2: Police assisted Buckeye Lake Police with an intoxicated subject resisting arrest.

+ Dec. 4: Police picked up a man being released from the Franklin County Jail on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Licking County Jail.

+ Dec. 5: A security employee at Harry and David's reported a fraudulent transaction made on an identified employee's computer. Police are discussing charges with the prosecutor's office.

+ Dec. 6: A Lakewood Drive apartment resident complained about loud music. She said her boyfriend asked the resident to turn it down. The neighbor actually turned it up. Police advised them to turn it down.

+ Dec. 6: Police made a traffic stop on South High and cited a driver for going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.
